What Sydney Girls Actually Do on a Friday Night

There's a reason I choose to spend most of my time in the city. Sydney's CBD has a rhythm that changes as the sun goes down. The corporate crowd fades, and the night crowd takes over — dressed up, drinks in hand, city lights reflecting off glass towers. I love wandering down to Barangaroo after a booking, grabbing a cocktail at a rooftop bar overlooking the harbour. The energy here is different. Sophisticated but not pretentious. Fast-paced but with pockets of calm. Some nights I'll meet friends for Korean BBQ in Chinatown, other nights I'll just walk along Darling Harbour with music in my ears, watching the ferries glide across the dark water. This is my city. Every corner has a story, and I'm writing mine here. I visit Burwood now and then for the food, but the CBD is where I belong.
